(This is sort of on topic and sort of off) I have a question about the PTO Covers on the Getrag vs NV, are they the same size and bolt pattern?

I love my Getrag a lot, and probably will not do a swap. Yes it is a slow shifting tranny but it does not bother me

Yep, same PTO covers. That's why the FastCoolers for the NV can be easily adapted to the Getrag:

Do you mean fast cooler? It is a cooler that increases oil capacity on a manual transmission. It does the same this as double deep auto trans pan.

Yep, Genos. The 'ol Rag's been running cool as a cucumber ever since. Hardly ever moves the gauge now. It think it ran up to a max of around 175 coming back from South dakota last summer in 95 degree heat. It was running up to 230 unloaded in those conditions the year before after I got the truck and started looking into the Getrag isues.
