How far off is your speedo

How far off is your speedo

Just wondering if my truck is the only one with an inacurrate speedo with the stock tires. Is anyone's speedo accurate?

Mine reads about 4 or 5 mph slow when at 65 or 70.

mine read about 2mph faster than my gps and i have a size larger (265/75/16) tires than stock.

Mine is perfect if I run 235/85-16's.

I run 235/85-16's, and mine is 4mph slower than it reads.

Mine is off, but I think it depends on what speeds I'm running. You guys just gave me an idea though, I'll check it to my buddy's GPS.

Mine is off 6mph according to my GPS with 235/85/r16 tires.

This is one reason I asked what size tires you can run on the stock rims. I want to get something taller to make the speedo more accurate.

4-5mph fast at around 30.. I believe the tires are stock size.

The odometer is broke but the speedo is within one mph of my GPS. I am running stock tires and gears.

Must be a dodge thing. They are not accurate or consistant

Ha! I have yet to see many of the cable driven types that were even close! in anything! Especially after 20 years! And they are consistant! Consistantly WRONG! the electronic ones are more consistant, however, they are also off most of the time. I spent a long time getting the one in my 85 right, and after 2 months, it was off again! Per the local speedo shop, the temperature can change the calibration. I just use the GPS.

4-5mph slow around 60ish and i the previos owner said tired were stock size.
