Anyone know the difference between the hood hinges on an 85 compared to a 92? The interchange but have a different spring. Just wanted help figuring out which one to have powder coated. Anyone noticed an actual improvement to the newer style? Thanks

I have both versions and prefer the newer. It is a little less bulky, and seems to be a bit more, idk... smooth, for lack of a better word.
