HELP First Gen serious problems

1993 First gen, Auto, 320,000, no major modifications

So over the past few days my problems keep getting worse and worse. Lost the speedo, odo, cruise, wait to start light, and O/D at the same time. Just started it up and they were gone. been checking a few sensors and cant come up with anything promising. just hoped in to move the truck and the dash lights behind the gauges no longer worked and they just worked earlier today. i have no idea what is going on here but i have to drive cross country in 2 days and i would really really like to have Overdrive! if you cant help me with my problems does anyone know how to manually wire in an overdrive switch?

Thanks for reading!

Agree, it sounds like a fusible link or similar issue

Common issues that you're talking about, and if anyone has owned a 1st gen dodge, they've most likely gone through what you're now experiencing.

Here's a thread I did, https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...s-t284142.html

and in particular this post #13 https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...6&postcount=13

Anyone who buys or currently owns one of these trucks should spend the couple dollars, and the couple hours doing what I did to mine. Saved me a lot of grief.
