heater/ac control panel in the dark while driving at night
Every vehicle I have owned seems to have a light bulb of some sort behind the heater/AC control panel on the dash. My control panel does not light up at night when I'm driving. I'm assuming that it's just a burned out bulb. My question is: what is the best way to access the back of my heater/AC control panel on the dash to change out the light bulb? The way I see it I might have 2 options: reach up under the dash and feel around for the bulb socket or pull the dash bezel off and unscrew the heater unit. Any suggestions?

yup. Pull the whole dash face off. Its only 4-5 screws....on mine anyhow (some are missing )
Mine didnt work for the the first year or so that we owned the truck. But one night i was doing a gauge cluster refresh and took care of it while I was inside.
It worth the effort. I no longer have to turn on my map light to adjust anything.

Yup, pulled the dash bezel apart earlier today. Man! this bezel was the easiest one I have ever dealt with! Nothing to pull apart or disconnect really. I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth things went. Replaced the blown bulb and everything works great!
