I can pick up a barely used H2E turbo for a decent price locally.

Want to get it for a friend for his birthday.

What exactly would need to be modified on the truck to make it fit?

Is it a direct bolt on?

And can I use the housing off of a H1E so that he wouldnt have to modify his exhaust system?

As far as i know the H2E is 5 inch exhaust correct?

Lets just say i can get it for in the area of 150-175. is it worth it? thats for the complete turbo.

The two main questions i have is just will it bolt right up? And can the H1c housing be used instead?

 

The H1c housing will not fit.

The H2 will not bolt to the exhaust manifold without an adapter.

That H2 most likely will have a massive housing on it. It would take for ever to spool it.
