H1E turbo
I acquired a h1e turbo that needs new bearings. Is it worthwile to rebuild or are they pretty much junk. How much difference is there from a hx35 to a h1e. thanks

A Cal HX35 has a 54MM intake wheel. The fedral HX35 has a 56MM wheel. A H1E has a 58MM wheel.
The H1E is the early version of the HX40 series of turbo.
You can use the H1E and a H1C and make a hybred out of them. The H1E and H1C use the same shaft. Here is a link with some good reading. Enjoy.
