guage install instructions
I searched the tech section sticky's and can't find any how to's on installing guages.
I know this is an easy task, but the last thing I wanna do is destroy something.
Like how do I install the EGT sensor without getting metal chunks from the drill bit in the exhaust housing? Maybe a few pictures of where the sensors go, for the guys who don't have a clue.
If someone with way more knowledge than me could help out, I'm sure a few of us would appreciate it. I'm not paying someone to install them.

just drill a small pilot hole, then drill your hole and tap it--if you want you can run a little magnet down the hole to retrieve any shavings (or you can remove the turbo), but in my experience, any shavings that do get left behind do ZERO damage, they just go out the tail pipe.

I laid three magnets near the drill bit while I was drilling as well as coating the drill bit with grease to catch extra fillings. I think as long as your careful and go slow you will be o.k.

If you're worried it is not a big hastle to pull the turbo. That's what I did; only took around 10 minutes... Not a big deal when you spend 20 minutes looking for the drill, 30 minutes cleaning out the shed to find the battery for the drill, 10 minutes deciding that you don't have the grease to put on the drill bit and 15 minutes searching for your keys to open the hood.

I had my 4 drill bits ready (pilot up to the correct size), started the truck and let it idle. Took 45 seconds, the manifold is soft, and all the chips were blow out. Warning, they will get blown into your face too.

you can get enough clearance to put a piece of cardboard between the manifold and turbine housing If you just unbolt the exhaust housing and v-band. Drill 'n tap, then fire up the engine for a few seconds with the turbine sepeparated and everything blows out on the floor, not back through the turbine/exhaust.
