A thought: If your front driveline is in good enough shape, perhaps you could remove the rear drive shaft and drive it on the front axle. This would (maybe) tell you if the problem is in the rear driveline (ie: pinion angle, output yoke bent, who knows?) or, if the issue persists perhaps the issue is in the front. In any case it would be another data point and it's cheap and easy to do.

That's a good idea. I haven't installed my front driveshaft yet, as I need to replace the front u joint on it, but after that is done that's a terrific idea.

Thanks!

So I think I got about 85% of it in the last few days.

Got my pinion angle straightened out by removing the riser on the crossmember I used.

Put about 1/2-3/4 turn on the big nut on the rear output of the TC. That was a major one. Man, that nut needs to be TIGHT!

Anyway, I still have some vibration at high speed, but now it's the type of vibration that could be explained by an out of balance tire or a brake drum or somesuch. Whew.

The yoke keeps coming loose on the back of my transmission. I've dropped the shaft twice for it. It'll run or it'll break.
