Ya but you would still need to find the waste gate cover for a 1st gen! so your ex would bolt up.

I would ask the seller if there was any shaft play, and what happened to the compressor housing? And wouldn't pay more than $100. Also would check at some local turbo rebuild shops. I got a free actuator from the place I go to.

But dus it have the backing plate with the housing?.....our first gen backing plate?

The backing plate from any 94-98 12 valve will work. It's only the 24 valves that had the elbow built into the backing plate. I'd check and make sure it's from a 12 valve or you might have to get creative like I did. (still haven't figured out a way to hook up the wastegate actuator)
