got the maxspool in tody

well after 2 hrs of work i got her in im putin the valve springs on tomorrow. and injectors and a piston lift pump on saturday. and a clutch hopefully on sunday. does anybody have pics of there timing gears. i think i messed up on the crank position and the injection pump.

does anybody have pics of the crank to cam to injection pump marks. 00 to 0 then 0 to c.

Don't know if this helps but my Dodge manual for a 93 shows three letters on the pump gear to be D, E and C in that order.
On the cam gear it shows a C. It says to line the pump gear E to the cam gear C.
On the crank gear it shows to line the 0 in between the cam gear 00.

thanks alot glhs i think i got it. i advanced the i/p gear one tooth. so i beleive thats to the c. c to c

Yes, I believe that's right. To advance the injection pump gear 10*, you would line up the pump C to the cam C.

do you think that is to much timing for stock injectors until i receive my new ones.

No, because you can still adjust it down.
From what I have measured using the stock cam/pump marks, timing can be adjusted from .65 mm (8*?)to 2.35mm (25*?). So by advancing it 10* you now have a range of approx. 1.65 mm to 3.35mm.
If anybody knows any different please correct me.
I would run stock injectors around 1.65. Mine is set at 1.95.

i wouldnot run more than 25
if u run more i would stud the head if u have not then when u get your new injectors u can go to 30 but no more till u build the engine we have a truck that is all bored out 40 over studdied top and bottom u no everything is done and it is only 36 or 37 anything over that and i lost power
