Going Moose hunting Northern B.C

Going Moose hunting Northern B.C for 10 days
I'm leaving Tuesday night, 2hr ferry ride, driving for 4hrs, sleep, then driving for another 11hrs into the woods west of Mackenzie B.C.
I hope everything I have done to the truck is the last of my problems for a while because my visa can only handle the trip plus an emergency.
I was in this area last year with a bull draw and came home with a nice 3x6. Very tasty. This year no draw but an open season for Spike fork and calf. I'll be on foot mostly, the truck just has to get me to and from areas to hike from.
Thanks for all the help in my previous threads.
Yuri

There are a few islanders on this site and looks like a few hunters. Hope your hunt is a success Yuri.
We just got back from hunting in the Okanagan. My wife got a decent bull, her first big game animal.
The old Dodge never missed a beat and the new brake system was great.

Im back!
Back from moose hunt and harvested 1 calf moose in the calf open season. The moose population is a lot less than last year and there is a lot more wolf sign. This winter should be bad for the wolf's as there were very few moose to be had. Out of 6 camps we spoke to in the 2 weeks 1 other took a bull. We did not see much else. Came across 1 big set of grizz track and 1 small set but not much else.
Now to business.
Ive had a chugging problem at idle that Ive noticed since I had the Ip rebuilt. I don't suspect its Ip related but what do I know. It has now gotten a lot worse after this 2500km trip and feels like a lumpy cam. It rocks the truck back and forth in gear at idle. Yes the idle is to low as it has also dropped on its own. its not really low but lower than were I had set it. Also off idle and driving I can feel the roughness and if its bad in gear you can just notice it in neutral. Feels like the engine is pulsing. It does not really pulse cold but does really bad when hot. Ive check the ip temp and the old one never ran that cool. Its luke warm after cruising with all my gear in the back (2000lb).
Im wondering if injectors could be my problem because its temp related and the IP does not get hot.
Im going to order bosch 190's and do a compression test when they are out. I suspect all is well with the engine but figure now is the chance.
Thanks for the read
