fuel pin

get a denny t pin, 100 bucks delivered. I got a stage 2 and love it. It's made from hardened stainless. It's got a more aggressive profile than the rest. It's cheaper, made out of better material and your money is going to a fellow enthusiast instead of just some company. there is no downside. best pin, best price, best service.

As far as a Denny T pin goes which one is better to get for a stock truck just starting out with modifications, the stage 1 or 2? Or in other words the 250-300 HP range for an end goal and no higher then that? Thanks.

One of the many tools a 1st gen owner should have, the 90* 1/4" air angle grinder, less than $30 at Harbor Freight. That plus some roll lock scrotch brite pads, grind your own pin, you just saved $100 bucks.

Or remove your afc foot entirely and there's no need for an afc pin.

Can you just take out the fuel pin? Cut the end off and leave the diaphram in???? Or would this cause funny things to happen?

The AFC is the round thing on top of the injection pump. It controls the amount of fuel you can get when there is boost and how much boost is required to get that fuel. Parts of the AFC we mess with are the smoke screw, star wheel, and fuel pin/cone.
