Getrag top cover bolts coming loose?
Just curious if this is a common problem, I just had to re-tighten the top cover on the trans in my truck, noticed it leaking, and found all but the rearmost bolts hand tight.
The transmission has only been in the truck a month, and I torqued the bolts when I put it in, as I had the top cover come loose and leak on the old trans 3-4 times in the last year or so, same thing every time on it too.
If it happens again I'm going to loctite the bolts and call it done.

Be careful, if you have any type of RTV or loctite accumulated in the bottom of the threads, it will hydrolock and blow a hole out into the inside of your case casting.. You should pull the cover asap to inspect for this... if the case already has holes blown in it, this could be why your bolts are loosening up - no threads to hold em tight.
