Getrag top cover
I need to replace the gear selector (?) that moves the fork back and forward the one the shifter pushes in this case for 3rd and 4th gear. I understand the two other forks must be in neutral first in order to move the one rod in the center bc of the lock system that will not allow two gears at the same time but I got the top cover with the 3-4 already moved and can't find a way to set the other two in neutral so I can move this other one one way to replace the broken selector on it. Anyone have any ideas?
Thank You.

I tried that but not very hard, I lined the other two to where I think it is neutral (they both line up with the synchro selectors) and hit it a bit but I was afraid I would break the other system that won't allow two gears at the same time.
A word of advise here, if any of You work on this top covers use some eye protection, last night I was checking it out after work and pushed one of them too much the spring and ball shot out of the hole and hit Me right in the eye. Needless to say that one hurt. Funny thing is I always wear this protection and the one time You get distracted...

Yeah I those things go flying. I assembled my top cover wrong and it would not seat on the top of the trans. I had 2 outside shifter detents backwards and or on the wrong shaft I don't remember? It will do together but won't fit on the trans. Once I swapped stuff back it was like butter.
