Getrag temp guage
And sence im at it, how about a procedure for the temp sender probe? Sorry guys im bored, its cold, and i have a paycheck burnin holes in my bank account. Will a water temp guage work? where do I put it? pictures? ok, i'll go away now.

I just started driling holes in the PTO cover for eveything I did to mine:

I think the PTO bolt is also the easiest way to fill it. I ran a piece of 3/8" vinyl tubing from a funnel down through the fenderwell into the PTO bolt hole 1st time. Now the Fast Cooler has a Plug on top for that.

Any sort of temp gauge will do fine. The PTO cover is a little thin to tap for NPT, I'd suggest welding a fitting to the cover. Make sure that the sender will be below the fluid level when the gears are slinging oil all over. I'd put it at least an inch below the fill hole level.

OK, thats what I was looking for. I didnt know if the cover was tappable, or if there was a bolt somewhere that could be be pulled, and replaced with a sensor. Thanks guys.
