Getrag overfill, TSB?
I apologize in advance if my information search missed an old thread.
I am on the verge of purchasing another First Gen with a Getrag G360. I have read threads in this forum suggesting it is necessary to overfill the transmission in order to lubricate the input bearing. Did Mopar issue a Technical Service Bulletin issued regaring this problem? (TSB 211993 perhaps?)
If not, is the conventional wisdom to overfill by 1.0 quart via the top of the transmission? The preferred fluid is 5W-30 synthetic?
TIA.

Mopar never said anything about it. you should definetly over fill it. if you're gonna put synthetic in it i recommend changing it all out....its probably never had synthetic in it, factory spec was conventional oil
