This is really weird problem but I guess I forgot to mention that sometimes it would pop in and be like neutral or it would not go in and give a pulsing resistance against the shifter. Im stumped because it happend when i was just crusing and I have had no problems before this. I would take it back to the shop but I bought it with the new transmission and lost the reciept for it, but I remember it was $1600. what do you think make an acess panel and pull the top off or drop the whole thing?

Im looking for the reciept for the place but no luck so far. I think im gonna pull the top but Im not sure. If I dont find the problem in the top I will be able to see what is wrong inside right? give me some more ideas Im thinking it may be a roll pin. Reverse and 5th are on the same rail so that could also explain why after this happened it is very hard to get out of reverse?

Today I made an acces panel and took the top of the tranny off. I found nothing unusual and everything seemed to be In good shape, where should I be looking for the problem? I need to get this thing back on the road. Thanks

OK I have been researching and have a few more questions. What is the little shift fork on the drivers side at the bottom of the case do? and I can shift it into 5th and still nothing. all the syncros look to be good and the shift fork is sliding over the gears fully, what could be the problem?
