I've hung onto a bed shell from another dodge that the new owner didn't want, and my body guy says he can repaint over the factory gel coat. This things gonna be looking like Mr. Jim Laynes rig, except in two tone black n gold.
Hey Augie, I hope you are up and kicking butt on the beast pronto. I want to say that it sucks getting old, but the alternative is a bit worse, hang in there...Mark

Debating wether to hang it up this year, Mark. Been beating up my body for 32 years now in the commercial sheet metal trades, and will be at retirement age at 55, which is in 11 months. I was gonna go till 58 or so, but I think this is a sign to get out and relax.
I've been walking around these hospital hallways at least 5x/ day now. Problem is they won't release me to go home till I go pot pot.

Sherod, Prune juice it was! Warmed up in the microwave with an entire cube of butter, along with a suppository .
The prune juice recipe came from the discharge nurse, along with the placement of the suppository, LOL!
Finally at home, in my bed, with wifey as the nurse.
Thanks for all the heal up words, fellas. Till next time, you all be safe

Glad things went well! I'm on back surgery #2. Both discectomy/hemilaminectomy. I know how much it sucks not being able to do anything. Don't push it too hard. Glad to see you back on the forum!

Thanks, MrFusion. I don't have plans on pushing on anything. I've learned to adjust my lifestyle long ago, as an example suckin' up the pride and having a female loader in the Costco parking lot load my dog food. Like this truck issue I had...what could've taken someone in their 20-early 40's a weekend or two to do, it took me 6 months. I have list after list of methodically attacking my tasks to get the truck back together, so I didn't hurt myself number one, and secondly so I didn't install something before installing something else, and end up tearing out what I just freshly installed. I only had one day a week to work on the truck, and while away from home in my trailer that is when I would put together the plan.
So glad that thing is done. Can't wait for the Dr to give me the green light to drive, then I can take it out for a spin and get that thing hot to check for all sorts of stuff.
For now, though, heaviest item I'm picking up is a cup of joe and task wise, typing on this iPad, LOL!
