GDS 60mm+DDP 80hp+12cm w/g+Maxed IP=50psi!!!!!

Well the UPS guy dropped of a goodie today so in my usuall fashion I dropped everything at work to come home and install it.

With the 80hp injectors and stock turbo I was hitting 42psi max. Now with the GDS on it made 50psi pretty quick. Of course I didnt stay in it too long because the clutch was slipping. It spools rediculasly fast now and sounds sweeeeeeet. I guess I need to get control over the boost and w/g, and maybe a set of head studs. I cant imagine what the N2O is going to spike it too. I think for now I will just take it easy, as easy as I can take it anyway, till the clutch goes in, fuel system gets done, and new head bolts or studs go in.

I may go out later to see if I blew the HG. After a 50psi run through the gears I pulled up to a stop light and it was chugging like it had a cam or something. I may have just sucked it empty of fuel though. After 15-20 seconds it cleared up and was fine. At this rate my wife is going to put me on that show "Intervention" because I just cant get enough diesel.

i heard between 40-45 psi but thats the least of your worries as most guys say after 40 your head gasket is on borrowed time

A stock type replacement is on it till the new electric pump and big lines get in. So basicaly stock fuel system at the moment.

From what I've heard the GDS 60 is still efficient to either 40-45psi, it will run higher than that but wont really make anymore power. Its just to get me through the next few months anyway.

When you ported your 12 cm, did you drill it or cut back the divider some so the wastegate can control the front 3 cylinders?

I drilled out the cross divider and gasket matched it, so its letting off all 6 cylinders.

JQmile, I'll have the fuel system in by the time the clutch and all is done so that was pretty much a one time deal. I'm getting excited about my next run on the dyno, if I hit 400whp you gonna try advancing your timing and see where it goes?

I think you will be pleased with the new LP, and lines. They will add a lot more power than one would think. I'm sure your clutch isn't too happy now.
