Well I called today and got my name on the waiting list, I can't believe the price! It's worth at least a try... Of course to me turbo noise is priceless.

I don't mean to hack in, but I am curious as to what mm pinwheel the PDR hybrid HX35 compressor housing has. This is what I have on my W250 1993;is the kit you got basically doing the same as mine(the hybrid from PDR uses a 16cm NWG exhaust housing) or more of an improvement? I was always curious about this in other related treads on the subject of pinwheel sizes. Again, sorry to hack in.

No. The turbos you mentioned have a larger turbine and can flow more exhaust out of the engine, lowering drive pressure and allowing more air to flow into the engine.

I assume that you can get a compressor wheel upgrade kit for the HX35. When I started looking around for my compressor upgrade everyone also carried one for the 2nd gen Hx35's. Do some checking I'm sure you can find something.
