I'm a new owner since March/06 and need all guages before "tweeking". '93 W250 5-spd. I have been researching and reading posts and visiting supplier sites, but I still get a little confused.

I have decided to purchase an Isspro tach (on the column) and Autometer boost, pyro, and trans temp. gauges.

I've seen some come with probes, and others you need to buy seperately. Some temp gauges sweep 0-140 while others are 0-160 and so on.

Can someone here give it to me black and white what is everything needed to complete this job, including models (z-series etc), sweeps (full or half), ranges and all part #'s. Any help would be great. Also, is this information specific to the '93 year, or does it cover all 1st gens?

Thats a tall request. I spent MANY hours deciding which guages to buy.

I don't think it matters which "series" you buy. I think thats mostly about look for our purposes. I decided to buy guages that came with probes because they seemed to be a better deal. It cost me $242 for Boost, Pyro and Tranny temp guages from Summit.

The cool thing about shopping Summit online is that you can reduce your search by just Pyros or just boost guages and then even narrow it more by series or boost range etc. It still took a while but it worked good for me.

I can't tell you what guages to get because I think there is too much preference involved there. I'm happy with my guages so far.
