Question Gauges

I want to get gauges in my 93 250 auto, but im not sure if you have to have year specific gauges. i looked on geno's real quick and it looked like everything was for a 94 and up. idk if i could buy those and make those work or wat.

It's probably the some of the mounts you are looking at that are showing only 94' and newer. The gauges themselves wont matter.

You want column mount or pillar mount?

I have an Autometer pillar mount that I like.

You can get generic pillar gauge mounts at stores like AutoZone and others. You might need to shave a bit of plastic to get a good fit but they have two and three gauge pieces.

Genos has an autometer 2 gauge pillar pod for 1st gens that works nice.

don't buy those generic things, the angles are always messed up if you try to run one of them on a 1st gen.

i think id like to have a three gauge mount. and it would be pretty sweet if i could buy one then just put it in. not have to shave any off. but its all gonna be price dependant lol

is it hard to get all the gauges hooked up? i dont have a tach and id like one. i'd love to get a pyrometer. and one more im not decided on. its in between manifold pressure and oil temp.
ive got no clue how hard it'd be to get this kinda stuff hooked up, or how expensive. you guys know?

i was gonna get boost gauge for sure. wat i cant decide between is oil temp and manifold pressure. and idk which is gonna be more helpful.
im not gonna do many ridiculous mods.
only mods im plannin on are
leveling kit tinted windows clearance lights the gauges west coast mirrors (the ones on tripods lol) fifth wheel hitch brake controller and an upgraded trailer electrical hookin up system so i dont melt the switch in the dash so i dont melt the stock one. lol but them aint got diddley to do with gauges lol
