gauge pods and boost gauge?

I'm looking to put a boost gauge in my truck and was wondering if anyone wants to chim in on what they have for mounting. I was thinking about this autometer dual gauge pod that is out there? I have a tach and EGT that are mounted else where and I may move one up to the pod once its mounted. I have read that the autometer pod puts the gauges too high? What do you all think? I'm 5'11 if that means anything. I'm planning on getting the 60 psi isspro gauge unless maybe I can find a 40psi? what do you think. I'm probally not going to mess with the truck that much but when I asked a few weeks ago most said don't waste your time with the 30 psi.

I would just be safe and go with the 60psi. I've never heard anything about the autometer being too high, im not too sure if you mean for visibility or what but i know a lot of people are using them. I have two gauges in the pillar and I just have one zip tied around my steering colum. I just bought a single gauge mount its not a pod its just open at the back but they are dirt cheap and I think ill just screw it to the top of the bezel on the dash

I picked up a 3-gauge Rod Pod from Wildcat Diesel - who are apparently out of business? - I think someone else is selling these, though - I prefer this set up as the A-pillar mopunts seemed to inhibit visibility, and I didn't like how close the top gauge was.

I'll post a pic today.....

I used Autometer Gauge cups for mine on the top of the dash.

The AutoMeter pod is aimed OK for me, but I could see where a shorter driver would have difficulty reading the gauges. They really ought to be angled down more, it's like they used the same angle as a 2nd gen pillar.
