Fueling Problems?

I've got fueling problems of some sort i believe. Filled up with fuel this morning and on my way to work i have no power at full throttle. Started to pass someone and truck started spitting and sputtering and white smoking a little bit. Its due for an oil and fuel filter change. Gonna try fuel filter first and see what that does. Water in Fuel light is not on! Gonna try some fuel conditioner anyway. Truck has 195,xxx miles. ??????

Location? Temperature outside? Known good fuel vendor?

WIF light doesn't always tell the story. Drain some in a cup and physically take a look at it.

buy fuel same place all the time. The truck was already warm when it started happening. I had already drove twenty miles when i noticed it. probably ten since I had fueled up.

Check your fuel filter. I've seen everything from mud from the service station tank to the inner tube of a delivery hose in loose format plug things up. Takes a few miles to slug the fuel filter. Temp don't matter.

Some service stations dispense gasoline through a green colored pump. I've seen folks put it into their diesels by accident. Acts about the same, and is very tough on the IP. Trucker could have put gas in the diesel tank by mistake.
