Fuel Supply Plumbing Ideas
I'm done with the Piston LP, and want to try an electric setup. That said, I need some ideas outside of buying an Airdog. My first idea was the buy the Carter pump from Summit that Pwrtrpls1 used in his setup, which I now have, but am having second thoughts about the fuel filter setup.
The filter and head from Tractor Supply is for transfer pump situations, and after looking at it, I'm not sure I'm ready to trust it as a primary filter for a daily driver.
My next idea was to ditch the banjo's and run through the stock filter, but after searching it appears the pressure drop over our filters is fairly significant, and I don't want to lose my new supply pressure to a poor filter/design.
So, can anyone shed some light on their setups? If your still using the stock filter head without the hard lines and banjo's what are the banjo threads? I'm just fishing here and looking for ideas.
Thanks!

Cheap, 1/2" ports, mount anywhere you want with a simple bracket, and with 1-14 stud, limitless supply of virtually any imagineable diesel filter, F/W seperator available. Here's what one looks like with a Cat 2um filter on a 3rd Gen:

I've been running a filter set up kinda like the one you mentioned. I've got every bit of 50k and no problems. mine is a fleetgaurd that takes an fs1000 filter. Not sure on how you will get around not running a filter head with stock filter set up. Good luck with what ever you do.
