Has anyone had luck with repairing their fuel sending unit nipples ?
I have a 1990 W250 and was installing the fuel tank when I bumped the top of the sending unit on the frame breaking both nipples off. I can only assume that the nipples were brittle ( not unexpected for 35 year old plastic) . The unit is not available.
I have seen a few videos of nipple repair but am curious how well they hold up.

Also, if anyone has a sending unit for a 1990 I would be interested in purchasing it
