55 is the top of second gear for me. It just stays there unless I back out of the throttle, then it will bang into 3rd.

If I can sell my stock transmission, I'm going to ditch the suncoast VB and get one from PATC.

Just for the record P/N: 1 463 402 423 is not actually longer.

It just has more threads on the screw, about two or three, so you can move the screw in further.

I just got mine done tonight. I don't know how many turns I got it turned up, but it's nice.

When I modified the tranny in my 440 Sport Fury to utilize the power of the 440 the tranny did the same thing until I played with the shift linkage adjustment. I was able to adjust it so it hit 3rd at 105 - just as I got to the 1st timing light.

I'm having the same problem with my 47RH...Mine hangs in 2nd.. I'd like it to shift at ~ 62 - 65....
I think it's due to the higher internal pressures. I've backed off on the shift cable as far as it will go and the tranny still hangs on the 2 - 3 shift...
Later today I'm going to disconnect it and try to tie it in different positions. Then we'll see if the tranny will shift properly.
