Fuel Return Line After Injectors return

Finally got the truck running again, had a missing problem a while back and then a no start.. Found out 1 injector was hanging and the pump's springs were shot. Just put a new pump and injectors in and it runs like a top. During the install i bend the return line a bit near nut that goes into the T at the back of the block. I bought a new one from cummins, gave them my engine # drove the truck to pick it up, took it home got the fuel line out, and its Bent way different, the banjo fitting looks like it would like up to the pump and all, but this has 2 brackets that go over lifter cover bolts has a bunch more bends in it than my stock one. A re-design of this line maybe? before i get it dirty trying to put it on, i wanted to see if anyone knew anything about a redesign on this line? Cummins is closed till monday, the truck was already down 2 months.
*Its the line that runs along the block behind The Throttle linkage and fuel filter, Leading from the return to the pump.**
Thanks,
Scott.
