Hey guys im following the stickey and cant find the spacer anywhere online with that # anyone know where I can find it?

 

We got ours at our local dodge dealer.

 

If you are meaning the spacer that goes between the engine and piston-lift-pump, that is a Cummins part and the numbers have been changed a couple of times.

The spacer is no more than a piece of 3/16" steel that has a slot for the pump-rod and two mounting holes; if you are careful, it is an easy accomplishment to make one by using the mounting side of the pump for a template.


Before you start, come up with either a couple of studs, or all-thread of the appropriate size, to install in the engine; rather than fighting with so many layers and trying to line up bolt-holes, it is much simpler to simply stack everything up on the studs, then apply the nuts.

 

Ill call the dealer then, anyone know what stock use they had for the spacer?
was it on the 94-98's?

 

I thought i read somewere a small block chevy one would fit? or maybe it was for something else?
