fuel pressure/pressure gauge question

hey fellas! i'm wanting to build my -6 fuel line from the filter to the pump and i plan to plumb a tapped fitting in there somewhere to hook up a fuel pressure gauge. the problem is, when looking at gauges (autometer's ultra lite II to match my existing gauges), they only offer a 0-15psi and 0-100psi full sweep, electric gauges. i'm not opposed to electric gauges as i'm just trying to match what i've got as i said. however, i don't want to buy the 100psi gauge and spend more money just to read maybe slightly higher than 15psi with the low pressure piston lift pump. which is supposed to only run around 15psi at idle. so, my question now is, can i run the 15psi gauge without any conflicts? what else would i need other than a sensor and wiring (which probably come with it) to make it work??

The standard "low pressure" 3936320 piston-lift-pump will hold between 14- and 17-PSI.

It is ideal to have a gauge with that reading in the center of it's range.

I am not a fan of electric gauges.

There are numerous mechanical pressure-gauge options that read 0-30 or 0-35.

The gauge need not say "fuel" on the face; most of mine say "water".

Although the internals are the same, a gauge that says "fuel" will cost a bunch more than the same gauge that says "water".

I just purchased a mechanical Marshall 0-60 psi Fuel for $12.79 off of flea-bay. Part #15028.

Btw, what are your power goals? I am shooting for all out so I am building it once with a Walbro 392, a regulator, and 1/2" lines setting it @ 17psi. Once my extra VE is "massaged", I will bump it to +20psi.
