It'll show you how to do it. Also, if you search on Youtube for 'VE timing bump' or some such, I'm pretty sure you'll find something.
And welcome to the forum.

my truck is pretty much stock, except for 4" pipe
I make low 20s on the highway, not pulling a trailer
17-18 mpg pulling a 5,500# boat & trailer
the CTD is efficient AND powerful. I tow in 5th gear and can accelerate up grades without downshifting

back to dieseljoe92, you might consider a smaller exhaust housing, spool quicker, less smoke=more power/economy, your stock housing would be around 18cm, or 21cm, you need to get down to 12 or 14

I do too. Around town it drinks fuel. On the highway it's awesome. I can go 80 miles at 60 mph tached up around 2000rpm's and the fuel needle don't move. I'm driving to the Raliegh Airport from Camp LeJeune NC so I can see what I get for open road miliage. Right now I'm waiting on a passenger side parking light to get in. The fella I bought it from knew it wasn't gonna pass inspection but failed to mention that to me. BUT no worries. Advance is getting on in on the 19th so I will have tags on this thing then.
