Fuel mileage Q? (not the usual MPG Q)
I am looking at possibly a long, 1000 mile one way, trip. Loaded with a 7K Ford on my 4K trailer. What do ya'll think the possible MPG would be on the way out loaded? Plenty of flat once I leave PA, possibly headed to Missouri. I'm trying to get an estimate for shipping together. Im thinking 12?? on good filters, and light throttle. I got 14 accross PA with the same trailer empty, but not being to light on the skinny pedel either. Thanks guys!

What do you get empty? 17 or 22? I had a truck that got 20 empty, 18 pulling a 2500# trailer, and 14 loaded with hay @23K GCVW. So it's really hard to say. I figure at your light load, 12-14 would be a good ballpark to budget for. Some of those little trailers pull awful hard.

I average 18 regularly. Thats with a 50/50 mix of highway/city, and heavy foot/light foot.
I know I get 22 highway at 65-75 (trip to ohio out I-80 in PA)
and I got 14 not babying on the return with a 24 foot BP flatbed on the same route.
The trailer weighs in around 4K+ 4500 on the highside.
