Fuel filter stud

My fuel heater was leaking and i was going to buy the oring to reseal it but decided to just eleminate it, and from the search function i got the case part number but not sure what its supposed to look like it. heres the picture of it could you just verify that i did buy the correct part Thanks

The o-ring above the fuel heater is also available from cummins, thats probably where its leaking from. That nipple should have a slot in the end of it, if you have an ignition key without the plastic on it, that and a cresent wrench works good to remove and install it.

A flat pry bar works well too... mine leaked but it was just the stud backed out a little bit.

I know thats where its leaking from i priced the o ring out and it was 5 bucks plus 8 bucks freight, at two different placed, i was able to get the stud from case for 10 bucks and never have to worry about it again. It should come out fairly easy since it came out with the filter and i just snugged it up with a short screw driver lol.

FYI...
A wix 51036 oil filter o-ring is the exact same diameter (little thicker, but no conflict) and only costs $5-6. You could get it for less if you cross the number to a cheap orange fram from walmart.
