Front Spring In A Spring???
I am trying to get the ultiment soft ride on my D350, how many of you have already tried a smaller coil spring in side the front coil spring but over the shock? If this won't work, what's the draw back? It's just a thought.

I have no idea if that would work or not, but I don't see how it would give a softer ride... do you mean like one of the coil springs would only contact on both ends when pushed far enough, like a leaf overload?
I don't think it'd be very hard to just replace the coil with an airbag and mount the shock on the outside, and would definitely ride better.

I'm just thinkin "lol" stk., or lite saged springs . Put a lite smaller spring , cut to length with poly ends (1 on ea. end )inside around soft type shocks. the4poly ends keep from rubing metal to metal,no rattle & such . like i said its a thought.

Im not sure about that BUT on coil overs on higher end deals, they have it where you get 2 shorter springs and put them together with a coupler to be able to use both spring rates. what does it do? i dont know but its interesting so i figured id post it lol
