Front Shock Replacement

I have a 92 D350 Club Cab DRW 2wd CTD. The front shocks have always been inadequate making for a "floating" ride in the front. I have replaced them numerous times and the OEM's never last more than a year or two. What is a good HD shock to run in the front that can handle the weight of the club cab with diesel? Should I look for shocks compatible with snowplow use to get some extra weight tolerance? Thanks for any and all advice!

I've been happy with the yellow Monroes on my truck.
