Front Lift Spring Options

Front Lift Spring Options
New to the forum and just back in the country (Canada) after spending 4 years in Africa. Before i left have had numerous large diesel 4x4's. Last one being a 1986 GMC with a turbo on a 6.2 38's and 8 inch suspension lift.
This time i am starting right with a 1st gen cummins, picking up a 91.5 regular cab 5 speed on the weekend.
Question:
I want to lift the truck between 6-10 inches. I will not be towing or hauling heavy loads as we have a dually for that type of stuff.
rear is no problem, I will utilizing chevy hangers, 63" spings, airbags and if needed a shackle flip.
The front is where i need some advice. I plan cross over steering to solve the steering issues. driveline angles can be solved through various methods, doubler t-case, divorsed t-case, cut/turn the diff with high angle drive shafts to name a few.
For 6 inch i can just buy the skyjackers and call it quits but to get 8-10" has anyone done a swap by remounting the front hanger forward and installing some 52" chevy or dodge lift rear spings? how do these springs hold the weight of the cummins and what is the ride quality. and what springs have you used to get 8-10 inches?
any advice on front spring options will be welcome.

Spring are back on and it gave me a good 2.5" to 3" lift sitting on the wheels . Sits level again. Very happy with Gettsprings and their crew. They took real good care of me. Also spoke to them about lifting the 5ver about 1 more inch they will build me some sprong blocks for the lift and new u bolts for around $60.00. Not bad I priced just the blocks for $40.00 at other places U bolts arn't cheap eather. I need new shocks now in the front kinda stretching the old ones a bit, Stearing wheel is turned to the left a little will fix that after a day or two of driving. That should get things settled in. Now the tires look small on the truck if aint one thing it's another . Oh well its only money .
