Front Grille Info.

If you need a front grille and don't have a lot of $$$, this is the place that I found. I don't know how well there made but I'm going to find out next week. I'm sure there not as good as factory.

I've ordered quite a bit from Rockauto over the years and they have some of the cheapest prices around and there parts aren't junk either.

Mine arrived from there via FedEx yesterday. Quality is ok but could be a bit better. No provision for the D O D G E letters. Check for damage upon delivery. Mine came in a box that was ripped open in transit.

Shipping was $18.90, I won't know anything on fit until about September. This is going into a crew cab project and I'm still in the phase of obliterating the 92 W250 donor truck.

This is good to hear. I want to use the stock 84 hood on mine and dont want the D-O-D-G-E on the grille. How much did you guys have to pay for yours. I've found them on ebay for around 120.0 shipped.

$71. so just a tad under $90 shipped. The Ebay sellers a making about 30%. I have the same plan to retain the D O D G E emblem on the hood. I don't want to end up with double nameplates.

I ordered the Sherman. I asked witch one was better made and the guy seem to think the Sherman. He also stated that they didn't have problems with the others, We'll see. I'll let you know on the fit.

Then and now...

Old thread but..
I just rechecked rockauto and they are on a close out sale for $59 with only 5 left BUT and I mean a BIG BUT shipping went from $18 to $77. These are also the lower quality "various supplier" versions previously discussed in this thread. Called Sherman and their same grille now lists at around $89 but out of stock with a 3 week delay and the price of JUST THE SHIPPING to here in PA is now at $117. Also checked on taillight replacements and there are only 4 sets remaining. I was going to also buy a new set of parking light assemblies but there is only 1 left side remaining. This to me indicates the final run of aftermarket Dodge parts are about to become extinct. I predict that within the next 5 - 10 years finding a Dodge truck body part prior to 94 will be as fruitful as finding a part for a Studebaker truck is today!
