front axle is bent
Took the 90 down to the frame shop Friday to get the frame stretched where it had been rolled. Got good news & bad, "sorta", the good news was they got the frame within 2mm of being perfect, the bad news the front axle was bent a little. I had an extra Dana 60 laying around, so I'm going to use it. It's a 35 spline with 4:10's where the other one is only 3:55 & i bought a matching rear for $150. Truth be known it wasn't bent enough to hurt anything, but I told the wife it was so I could use the other one without her saying too much.

I didn't bend it WVU Dodge did. His pappy was none to happy about him rolling his truck, I WAS cause they decided to sell it, rather than fix it. The story I've gotten he was going down the road, it was raining & it got away from him. I do know the motor has been worked on, so I guess that's a possibility, but my guess is he was some place he shouldn't have been. And after seeing his gallery I would say I was about right there is mud packed all over the place.

He took the intercooler, the gauges, pillar pods & who knows what else off of it and doesn't want to sell them to me either. I'm looking for a used one now, really hate to pay the price of a new one. I'm using a 93 grill so it won't interfere with the A/C condensor. I paid $3600 for the truck from his dad.

with all that damage
tinkertom,
$3600 seems a little steap being that it was rolled, and you didnt get the intercooler, pods or gauges . and from WVU Dodge's photo's he played hard in that truck. how many miles are on?
any ways it looks like you do good body work. its going to be a good lookin truck when your done.

Tom,
Since my driving record is now a public conversation I'll tell you what you got. You got the POD's, and 14 cm housing. I kept the intercooler and HX-40. The guages are in Dad's truck. Figured since I wrecked a truck that I never paid him for its the least I could do. The timing is advanced, fuel turned up, injectors, and smaller housing. Nothing has changed since the first couple times I told you when I was standing in your garage last month. Sorry to hear the axle is bent. If you got anymore questions you can ask them directly to me.
Adam
Old red looks good by the way

Bob,
To get the intercooler to fit i had to get rid of the AC condensor. A buddy gave me a shorter intake horn so I could turn it toward the drivers side. I turned the plate on top of the intake manifold 180* so that it moved the intake forward enough to clear the master cylinder. The cold side of the intercooler piping was ran underneath the battery tray. I had to make the plumbing for it, which I did a terrible job at. Right after I bought all the mandrel bend 2.5 inch pipe to do it right I ended up wrecking it. I did not have any interference with the grill, although it was tight up against it.
But the real question you are asking is what is the intercooler out of. I have no idea. I just know it was 2.5 inch and was modified so the nipples were at 90* elbows, as they were originially straight out. Sorry I dont know anymore about it.
I had a lot of fun in that truck. I learned to drive in it. It was the most reliable and fun vehicle i've ever had. That was my 1st, and I'm on my 5th at the moment and I know i'll never be as happy with somethign as i was with that 90. I wish I had some better story like I was coming out of a mudhole with 45 mph wheelspeed in 3rd high and wadded it up against a tree, but it actually just came out from under me on the blacktop.
