A friendly reminder to all our forum users . . . . .
We do not allow profanity, short-cuts to profanity, or implied profanity in posts in these forum boards.
You don't know who has a grandchild sitting in their lap while reading the forum posts. It's tough trying to explain to a child some of the language used today. Let's not contribute to those headaches.
While it's true, some members may present as questionable , we are grown adults and as such, are capable of communication without a bunch of gutter-slang.
Your adherence to this and these forum rules is appreciated.

Another reminder to ALL.
- Further, if you see it, or any other violation of our forum rules, please remember to notify us by way of the "Report" button found to the left of any post It's the red triangle with the exclamation point inside.
Your doing so helps keep these forums the Family Friendly thing it is.

Hahaha... take a walk! You're going to insult an admin here? When he was professional? You're asking for directions to the door, I'm giving them to you.

I appreciate your comment, and I really mean that, no kidding.
While I'm all about your defense of a member, just remember you don't see what goes on behind the scenes with PM's and whatnot. A word to the wise has been given. We do not have a zero defect mentality here, and we will alert members of the rules and be polite to them when rules are broken, but when someone is downright rude and disrespectful to us, they can find somewhere else to hang out. We have 100,000 members here that can do the right thing and be polite, I am not going to tolerate rudeness from someone after we have nicely shown them the forum rules.

Replacing letters of the cuss word with the likes of * # @ %, etc. We have filters in the forum software that automatically replaces the letters of a known spelling of profanity. You'll often see such presented as "***". People sometimes make the effort to circumvent such by posting misspelled versions of the cuss-word. That is a short-cut to profanity.

I like that this forum is clean and not full of foul language thanks for keeping it that way. I hate to see 9mm get banned I think his comment was taken the wrong way but this ain't my forum lol. Is a shortcut to profanity?

Here, we don't have to put up with people that are rude to us after we talk to them. Like I said, you don't see the PM's back and forth.
I can live with BS... I can even live with a curse word now and then... not THAT big of a deal. It's when every post is either a shortcut to profanity or ****** all the time...
Maybe I should say it's mostly attitude? If 99% of your posts are helpful and respectful, and you say a 'dam' in one of them, you're not going to buy it.

Onemoparnut, one of the other guys came behind me and edited my 'BS' statement trying to look out...
I have not problem with you calling me out, (not meaning that as a rude statement), because you are 100% right, but I think my above post explained how we feel as an admin collective.

Banned
When someone gets banned does this mean that they are just banned from posting or are they still allowed to enter the site and surf around and read posts and classifieds and whatnot, and also is this a perminent situtation?
