Ford rims and Dodge hubcaps, or...?

Ford rims and Dodge hubcaps, or...?
So my truck came with some el-cheapo aftermarket chromed steelies, which look fine, but I question their quality and ability to hold the loads I sometimes pull...but my main beef with them is that 3 out of 4 of them are bent...like the tire machine askes for 14oz of weight bent! At any rate, I just ate through a set of decent quality 235-85's in 15k, and enough is enough...sooo, I ran into a set of stock steelies off a 95 f-250 for next to nothing. They're nice and true and bolt right up front and back...the only problem is they're grey and just look hideous...but I'm poor and I need round more than I need pretty. So, will dodge hubcaps snap on these things if I can find a set? I'm gonna have to go ahead and refuse to run Ford hubcaps...well, just because. Oh, I'm gonna try some 265-75's this time too

If they're like the Ford rims that I have (not sure of the year), they only have 3 lugs to hold the hubcap - my stock Dodge rims have 4 lugs. I couldn't keep the stock Dodge hubcaps on the Ford rims. They weren't rigid enough to stay on w/o that 4th lug.
Edit - The hub caps would fit but would fall off when hitting a good bump or pot-hole.

I do have the center caps from the 2nd gens with ram head that I used with my steel chrome rims
but they won't fit on the alu's without a little machining to mill them down a bit. I have all 32 shouldered lug nuts new from dodge that fit the 1/2" studs.

Here is an old poor-boy trick that I have seen used numerous times.
Take four pieces of 1/8 x 1 steel, or aluminum.
Drill holes in each end, such that they will go over two opposing lug/studs.
Drill a 1/4" hole dead-center, between the two stud holes.
Insert a length of all-thread, with nuts on front and back, through this hole.
Put this steel bar over the two studs, on top of the lug-nuts.
Use two plain nuts to hold it on.
Drill a 1/4" hole in the center of the Dodge hub-caps.
Install a hub-cap, such that the threaded rod pokes through the hole in the hub-cap.
Put a stainless flat-washer and wing-nut on the threaded rod to keep the hub-cap on.
Now give that man a cigar.
