floor pan differences?

floor pan differences?
hi
im back with yet another question . i found a nice cab, but its a 2wd automatic. my cabs a 4wd 5 speed. the floor pan humps are different right? so if i got this cab id have to cut out my floor pan hump and put it in the new cab? just checking

Well, depending on ur fabbing skills, I would just make a deal for the 4wd shifter off to the side of the 2wd hump.. Seems like it would be easier than cutting the whole hump out..

There is a difference between pre automatic OD trans. trucks. 2wd and 4wd's of the day were different for clearance. After the introduction of auto OD's they had the same floor pan. Cut your hump out slightly bigger than you cut out the 2wd one, makes it easy to weld in or just use fasteners.
