Finally ready to spend $$$ were to start???
Hey fellas,
I have been in Afagistan saving up some cash and know I am getting ready to blow some !!! I already have what is in my sig.. My truck I use as a daily driver.... when I am home. So my set up needs to be reliable and get decent fuel economy. I usually dont tow much just a boat and a small tandom a couple times a year. I would like to achieve as much hp as possible without having to do any head work. I was thinking a set of 5x.014 sticks and a phatshaft 62. Possibly watermeth also. What do you guys think and am I missing somthing?? Any suggestions would be appriciated.

I started using 1st to pull out from a dead stop after putting on the new Dura Grapplers last year - just to be easy on the clutch. I'll use 2nd if it's moving at all or heading downhill.
The Gear Vendor OD unit is a fantastic addition to a 4.10 stick truck, if you have the $$ to spare. The engine turns about 1800rpm at 70mph in 5th over with the 34" tires. Seems like a near perfect combo in all-around use for everything from towing heavy in 4th-over at speed to daily commuting unloaded on the interstate.
