What were the boost numbers on the dyno? Were they the same as they are on the street? It may be as simple as the engine not being able to get a load on it.

Just curious, but what Goerend converter do you have? How old is it?

Power seems to drop off early...is the pump all the way up? Mine makes peak power closer to 2800 rpm.

numbers sound low for those mods, should be at least 350HP IMO. Closer to 400

Is your electric pump working? good psi ??

Sounds to me like it wasn't loaded enough on the dyno, because it was done making HP at 2300 and it should of gone higher.

ok boost read 40 psi...pump maxed out..the tightest gorend tc they make 1 month old..timing is at 1.9mm exactly...fuel pressure was at 15psi on my gauge..would drop to about 12psi when hammered on..

All I can say is dyno's are all over the place. You have a better tc, bigger sticks, better turbo, better manifold, better 366 spring, better lift pump and your power is under mine. There is no reason your truck should be under my 89 in power. I wish all dyno's were the same.

Well, its funny. The same day I dynoed I watched a totally stock non i/c truck with a rag pull a 166 horsepower run. I would say that is right on. The non i/c trucks usually pull a little better then the cooled trucks at stock levels.

I'll plumb mine out for a great dyno number.
