F250 Seats in 1st Gen

Has anybody done this?
Ive got a line on some clean seats from a 98-03 f250 for cheap.
Im wondering if they will fit, be comfortable & how hard the install will be.

I can't help on the fit. I'm sure you can fab some kind of mount that will make them fit though. As far as comfort I like them. Now if you wanted to know if a W250 engine and trany will fit in a F250 I have a bit of experiance.

We put a 2003 F350 power leather seat with integrated seatbelts and the fold down center console/seat in my '93. It doesn't fit very well, the seat frames are nowhere near the right height to match the Dodge floor pan contour.

The rear of the seat ends up being too high and generally not very comfortable, plus the Ford seat are hard, not plush at all.

My $.02 would be skip the Ford seat and hold out for a nice second gen Dodge, I wish I had.

that's surprising, not for the fit but comfort. I always found ford seats to be very comfortable.

Yeah I remember older Ford truck seats being fairly comfortable, maybe the cloth versions are better, mine definitely wasn't worth the work or $$$.
