Exhaust Vid

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSYtSHDUTgs

Made a quick video after installing my new 4" turbo back.

It took a little longer than I expected, but sure worth it in the end.

This feels and sounds like a whole new truck.

Thanks all for the help!

Hope you are able to see how I felt while installing the system.

Regards,
Dunn

Thanks to the Doctors of Diesel here!

Thanks Gents!
I couldnt be happier!

The Larger exhaust had made some gauge differences as well.
Quicker spool up and boost, lower egt's and what appears to be better mpg.
I noticed this while test driving all over the hills here. Also the turbo whistle is noticably louder.

I still have to trim the tail pipe, and fix one rattle near the tc, and possibly lift it a little in the back.

The day had finally arived for this much needed upgrade!

Best Regards,
Tom

Wow, that was one cool video, man! Exhaust looks/sounds awesome. You did such a good job making it feel like I was right there, I started to roll out of my seat when you went under the truck and filmed looking up! Sorta like that travelling Chevy Show a few years ago, when the crowd would fall off their chairs watching the video shot from the dash of a Corvette on mountain curves. Anyone else remember that? Anyways, your video was absolutely great, as was your install on the truck. In the beginning when you are reaching for the pipe that's slid over the old pipe I started yelling "No! Don't touch that, it'll burn you!! That in itself isn't so bad...until you realize there is no one else here - I was yelling it at your video!! Good job, keep it up.

Cool

That's pretty cool. I thought it would be just the great sound a 4" system makes.

Nice VID, and nicer looking exhaust. That Stan`s stuff looks to be a very nice deal, I esp like the angle of the tailpipe exit, mine comes out 90 deg to the qtr pnl and I like the 45 deg look much better.

I actually prefer the 90 on 1st gens. It's what I originally had (3.5'') now I've got 5'' 45. Still looks cool. I dig the vid. Looks like a nice clean install, too

Thanks very much you all!

I was under the truck making some more adjustments.

The clamp nearest the transfer case was bumping.

I turned the clamp 180 and ground the edges. Clearance is close but no rattling

I loosened the rear clamps and did some adjustments there as well, and now my pipe rides a little higher and pointed where I want it.

After my latest last minute work on my new system I had to take it for a quick test drive up the road and decided to take my camera to see if I was able to get anything but the batteries ran out and the sound was virtually non existent.

But here is a quick video I made about a couple hrs ago. youtube compressed the heck out of it and the pixelation is horrible. cant see much.

Thanks for watching!

I Know, it's corney.
