Question Exhaust Housing Size on HX-35W?

Howdy all,

How can you tell what size exhaust housing you have on an HX-35W?

Or better still...does anybody know what size exhaust housing came on an '03' HX-35W?

On the HX-35,the section of the exhaust housing that the downpipe attaches to bolts on...but on my HC-1,the downpipe slips over the one piece(21cm)housing.
As far as I can see there are no bolts on the HC-1 housing to remove the flange that the exhaust slips over.

Will I have to get a late model downpipe to use this on my truck?

Thanks for any advise...

Vinny

You can use a late model downpipe or get an old-style backplate (the piece that has the elbow cast into it on your HX-35). The housing will be a 12 cm. FYI, a 12 cm wastegated housing isn't worth more than $50 or $60, so don't pay more than that for a backplate.
