i've read a bunch of the exhaust threads but i still have a few questions.

1) is there a reason i can't have a local muffler shop build me a 4" turbo back exhaust?

2) assuming it's not mandrel bent, how much more flow will a 4" give me than the stock unit?

3) striaght pipes are not an option. who makes the best (or very good anyway) high flow but fairly quiet muffler?

well i was told that shops cant bend 4 inch to easy to destory that is why the 4 and 5 in systems are mandrel bent . I have heard one with a flow master and it sounds great but you can hear him coming . Mcmopar , Mike D just put on a 4 inch and he likes the sound there are both dtr memebers. as far as gains less restriction on any motor is better but these guys here say that diesels need as much as they can get. hope this helps
