Educate me on the cam plug

I'm pulling my trans tomorrow for rebuild and upgrades. While I have it out, I'm doing the 2nd gen flexplate swap and replace rear main seal. It has been suggested that I also do the rear cam plug too while I'm there.

Is it just a plug like a Chevrolet uses, that is a freeze plug like thing? Or does it bolt in? Do I need to get one at Cummins or generic parts store. Cummins is 60 miles from me so I want to make sure I get everything I need while I'm there.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

It's similar to a freeze plug. Have one on hand, but if it does not seem to be seeping oil I'd suggest leaving it alone.
