Easiest way to regulate the high pressure piston lift pump?
Since I added a turbo I was thinking about upping the fuel flow by replacing the LPPLP with the 94-98 HPPLP. What's the most cost effective, simple way to regulate the pressure so I don't blow up my injection pump?

I got a mallory regulator from summit. I'm yet to use it though, the truck is still down and being built. Things are going slow because I don't have a lot of money.
The regulator I bought regulates something like from 4-24psi.
I've retained my front seal so I may run without a regulator and see how that goes. I haven't decided yet though.
I'm using my old mechanical 35psi boost gauge as the fuel gauge because I can't afford a fuel pressure gauge. I also bought a tork tek 12mm banjo snubber and I'll be running my FP gauge right at the IP inlet. It should work nice. I reamed out all my banjo bolts to 5/16" and the side holes to 11/64" just to give it that little extra. Hopefully I haven't been too intrusive and taken too much material on the banjo bolts and break em when I torque em down to keep from leaks. We'll see what happens when I get it all back together.
I'll also be running a fuel filter/housing off a 97 with the injector return line off the 97 as well because it goes right to the top of the fuel filter housing. It isn't as good as a AIRDOG or FASS, but it's much better than stock, and it was free for me. That and it keeps everything 100% mechanical.
I suppose the VE return would work better on a first gen since everything is already there and don for you but the motor is going in an 03 super duty
